Ireneusz “Irek” Golka has worked extensively as an archaeologist and archaeological illustrator (planner) since 2001. He is highly proficient in archaeological excavation methods, drawing, survey and mapping.

Irek has worked on a number of projects including excavation for the Windsor Bridge Replacement Project and more recently was part of the archaeological excavation team for the North West Rail Link project.
Irek is also involved on research projects at the University of Sydney including archaeological survey in the Solomon Islands and most notably mapping historical inscriptions at the Sydney Quarantine Station.
